The Brothers Nightwolf

I love to read. It is my favorite hobby. But when I find a good book, I will dive in and not come up for air until I finish. I get cranky if I have to pause to eat. And sleep… not going to happen.

So I’m saying I have no willpower when presented with a good book.

But this lack of willpower is not conducive to finishing my next book that I’m writing. So I compromise with myself. If I’m on a deadline (and let’s be honest, I usually am), then I can only read if I finish my word goal for the day.

This means I read at night (see where this might be going?). I have to set myself a timer and stop reading when it goes off. Sometimes I rebel and fight and kick and scream, but I make myself do it. Otherwise, I’m reading and it is 3 a.m. and….

Well, last night I finished Nago, Her Forever Wolf, by Theodor Taylor. I’ve not read other books by this author, but I plan to. I’ve already downloaded the next one in the series, Knud.

I loved this book for many reasons. The character building was great. The story telling was wonderful. It was a great romance, and a fast read. The only thing I didn’t like was that it was set in the future and she used some terms that I had no clue what they meant. I figured it out later, and concluded they must be part of her “world.” If I’d read the very first book in the series, I might have understood from the get-go. But it didn’t stop the enjoyment of the book at all.

I give this book five stars, and urge you to pick it up. It is straight up paranormal romance and not the action-filled paranormal romance that I write, but it left me with a big smile on my face. I hope you get a chance to check it out and enjoy!
